GRATITUDE: Defined as Thankfulness by Webster Dictionary.

Such a small word, yet so full of meaning. We are thankful for the people that braved the cold and joined us for our Christmas Progressive Evening, we greatly appreciate your support of our shop!
We are so thankful for the lovely women that helped us with the Progressive Evening..Sue, Linda and Heidi. We love you.
We are thankful for the people in our lives that bless us by just being there. The time we invest in each other is a gift that has abundant returns.
We are THANKFUL for that child that was born over 2000 years ago in such humble surroundings. Such a small baby, yet full of promise, grace and mercy.

From our families to yours, we wish you a Merry CHRISTmas!

Baby-- it's Cold Outside....

But it's nice and warm inside.

Blue trees, white trees, red trees, green trees........

Check out this adorable vintage lamp with Mickey and the gang. Surely there's a little someone out there that would be so pleased to have this by their bedside.

We've got a whole row of these records hanging from the ceiling, pretty stinkin' cute!

I loved the way the light caught the colors of the glass dishes, reflective of how pretty the shop is right now with all the Christmas lights.

Bring some sparkle and shine into your life!

Merry Thanksgiving Everybody!

P.S. We've got a little something we're cooking up for December...anybody up for a Progressive Evening?? I'll spill the beans when we get the details worked out...be on the lookout!

It's beginning to look a lot like.....

.....Christmas, everywhere you go! Only 46 days left until December 25th...my where does the time go?? It is bea-u-ti-ful at Uncovered Ruby, the lights all a glow with a cozy fireplace to greet you when you walk in the front door. This is our front window looking in....join us and stay a spell....

Daytime.....

Nighttime....(we're open until 6pm right now).

Even our fully decorated trees are waiting to go home with you.
Ian and Cici joined us on Saturday by selling homemade goodies made with honey to support their Buzzing Buddies Honey 4-H group...how can you possibly say no to these adorable grins? It's been quite busy down here in Old Town Battle Ground!

Now don't get me wrong, I'm not forgetting about Thanksgiving. Seems like we're all rushed from July 4th straight to Christmas in the retail world. No worries here though, we still have plenty of Fall decor and Thanksgiving delights, along with a nice variety of furniture, big and small and sweet accents for your home.

Not to mention our favorite ladies from Vintage Gathering are doing a Christmas Emporium right next to us in Paper Moon's old building.......Birdsong, Beyond the Garden Gate, Andy's Attic, Junque Couture Home, My Shabby Passion and many more (15 vendors I believe) are participating. They've done an awesome job of decorating and spiffing the place up, and from what I've been told, new merchandise comes daily. So between Uncovered Ruby, Vintage Gathering's Christmas Emporium and Main Street Station, we've got you covered for the holidays!

Come, and be delighted.

Twas the Day

Twas the day of the Outdoor Gala

When all through the parking lot

People were stirring and filling up our shop.

The Ruby purses were all lined up, placed with such care

The signs were all hung, quiet in the crisp Fall air.

The pumpkins awaited a home of their own

....which one will he choose? The grey one, the green one, the orange or the blue?

The fire was cracklin' to warm those cold fingers and toes,
The music was drifting to soothe the soul.

The baked goods and sweets flowed aplenty

Marshmallows...

Malt balls...

Carmel corn and honey.

People came to admire the fancy ride

And gander at the great lookin' vintage bike....

Rusty finds and junkyard delights.....

In piles and rows stacked to the sky.

The charm of it all, so simple and nice

A bit of sparkle

A bit of glitter

a bit of whimsy dresses it all up just right.

Gorgeous buffets

and tables and vanities...

....cozy home accessories

and my favorite: the cubby!

Something for every home

whether it be country ...

...or fluff.

Now then, enough is enough.... let's not forget the smalls:

Creative and lovely...

and of course the most precious smalls of all...(no she's not for sale!)

A few finds for the men: thermos' and helmets, rusty tools...

..... how 'bout a statue of the Deep Thinker? And.....well, maybe that's all. :-)

The weather was beautiful.... a chilly but sunny day, a grande time for all. Ok, I'm going to stop rhyming now because this post is going to take me all Fall.

Thank you to all our great vendors, consignors and customers who made this day a day to remember!

I'm done now. :-)
