Lookin' Good!

The new side of the shop is looking fab.u.lous. Only shopkeepers understand the late night hours, or shall I say wee early morning hours, lack of sleep, planning, organizing, moving, thinking, obsessing, not sleeping (did I mention not sleeping?), to make it all look beautiful.

From the outside looking in...Sally hard at work. (she makes it look so easy!)

The new side is fresh and spring-y feeling. I brought a friend to the shop last week and when we walked in the front door she asked if we'd gotten new carpet, to which I replied, "Nope, you can just see it now!"

Truth be told, this shelf is already sold. It's hanging up nicely in my dining room.

Now if I had a spot for this window, it would be gone too.

Totally love this purple hat. Purple has always been one of my favorite colors. It's just hard for me to decorate with purple. So, I decorate with red :-).

And I love this little guy (who happens to not be for sale) even more. In a word: priceless.

Enjoy! Lisa :-)

There's a hole in your wall, dear Sally...

When I was young, my friends and I would sing silly songs while we picked blueberries for money. One of those songs, which I can only remember part of, went something like this:
There's a hole in your bucket, dear Liza, dear Liza,

There's a hole in your bucket, dear Liza, a hole.

Well then fix it, dear Henry, dear Henry, fix it!

Anybody know that one? Well at any rate, the hole (I mean whole) reason I bring this up is because there is now a huge hole in the wall at the shop, which coincidentally we don't want to fix because....
UNCOVERED RUBY IS EXPANDING!!
This is from the shop's side looking through the new hole in the wall to the currently empty side which will sooooooon be filled with goodies!
Ahhh, space. Blank space. So many ideas, so many options, where to even begin?
Sally and I contemplating space.
In the empty space looking into the shop's very full space.
Yep, there's definitely a hole in the wall dear Sally, leading to even bigger and better things! I'll be bringing more pics of the transformation, until then...Lisa :-)
