Goodbye

Well, it's done. We've put our beloved Uncovered Ruby to bed. Dismantling the building, packing up, closing accounts, cleaning and filling in the holes in the walls, it was like someone was leaving our lives. My husband reminded me to remember all the good times and not how it was in the end. UR became an entity in our lives, and that is something that will be missed. I know that all you business owners, former and current understand the emotions involved with this. We had a good run which we put a lot of heart into and for that we're so proud and thankful!
To our dear, very dear, friends who have been a part of this venture since day 1, we love you. To our community of faithful customers, you're wonderful. We are planning on doing a flea market this summer in July with The Vintage Gathering group. More info will be posted on here. We're also tossing around different ideas to post on the blog, tutorials and such, so the blog won't be going anywhere for the time being.
Thank you for joining us on this journey...until later!
Lisa ;-)

Blessings!

I know God has many, many new plans for you that you have not even glimpsed yet.

It's always sad to see the end of something as great as your shop...but it is true that God must have other plans for you both! Be blessed

I'm sad to see it end, I hate change! But Kristin and I have done the same thing, so I do understand. I almost thought by your title that you were closing your blog, so I'm glad to see you're still going to be here. Love you Lisa, and pray for you, that more and better are to come for you. We've got to get together again! Love, Karen
