Catching UP

Ok, I'm playing catch-up. Catch up with school work, cleaning my house, working on projects and posting on the blog...I go camping for one weekend, get sick for one week, and everything still just sits there and waits for me...(hmph)...I need a vacation..or at least some sun!

First off, we have a G.R.E.A.T. new vendor in the shop. Welcome Debi, of Rustic Cottage! I am already thoroughly going crazy over her wares. She makes everything handmade and mixes in wonderful antiques, vintage and primitives. I must confess, some of Debi's creations have already made their way into my home :-).

Debi also sells her items at The Girls Back Porch in Keizer, OR. We're so blessed to have her join us!

She has some lovely furniture pieces, if only I had a bigger house....(sigh)...

Debi also offers a different special item at a discounted price each month as a way to express her thanks to her customers. I like this girl!!

Prune Hill is rocking it up in the front of the store right now. Mary Ann brings such a wonderful Primitive Americana look to the front of the shop..just in time for Independence Day too!

With some beachy thrown in...ahhhh, I know the sun just wants to come out and shine on us now!

I had to throw this one in. We have a hand model at the shop (thank you lovely Heidi), showing off some fashionable rubber gloves for all your cleaning purposes! Wear these and you'll sing like Cinderella while doing dishes, scrubbing floors, scouring toilets...ok, ok, that last one's a stretch.

Here's some random shots of items in the shop... something new to discover around every corner.

Trudy of Verlie Estelle makes these adorable bags.

And that's it for now. Don't forget we've got a Vintage Gathering 2 day flea market happening this week...June 25th and 26th at 17414 NE 199th St., Battle Ground, from 8am to 4pm. It's just a short 1.5 miles from the shop...sounds like a fun shopping weekend to me! Lisa :-)

I am soooo very sad that I am going to miss your sale this week-end...I had invited Gail to come up, and we would crash the party together...and then I got a desperate call from a friend in Bend, and they are having their moving sale, and really really hoped that I could come over and help...and being the pushover that I am, I am headed to Bend...so...I am hoping for next time...
I will be up soon, though, to check out the expanded space and new vendor!

You have done a great job introducing your new vendor. Rustic Cottage is a perfect compliment to the wares you already have to offer treasure hunters!
