GrEeN

I don't know about ya'll, but I'm ready for spring. Here in Washington, I like my stormy days, my snowy days, my sunny days, but not my grey just drizzly days. The drizzle that makes your hair go either flat,

  curly,

        or frizzy,

an umbrella is overkill

and a hood looks like you're not a true blooded,

              used to the drizzle,

Washingtonian.
HA!

Well I've lived here my whole life, and I've decided enough of this in between stuff.
If it's gonna rain, then let it rain good!

So anyways, I wandered into the back of the shop last week taking a few snap shots, and saw what Lynn and Sue had brought into their space.....

Now I know you're not getting the full effect here, but this greenery sits atop a cabinet that's painted, well, green.
It's Granny Apple green fresh (maybe not quite that bright), but it just feels good to look at.

I know, I should have had my flash up, but I don't like the harsh white light sometimes. I just love the mirror on mirror effect with the greenery in front of it, and a splash of yellow from the lemons. Very nice.

I just threw this one in because I like this lamp, very pretty. And what do you know, I caught some grEeN leaves in there too.

Oops, this one slipped in too..Michelle of My Shabby Passion always has such nice displays in her booth.
Hmmm, looks like she's got a bit of GREEN moss in the corner there.
No, this isn't a St. Patrick's Day post, I am leading up to something here....

wait for it...

...awww. My coconut cake with the green letter G on it. What might that stand for?? Well, Green Bay Packers of course!!!
Woo-hoo, woo-hoo!

But don't you worry...

..we still have plenty of RED in the shop!

You know living in California I get lots of brown, so now when things are green, it makes me feel so rested and happy. But decorating right now I am obsessed with red and white. I walked in to a store yesterday and they had all of the green from Saint Patrick's day out and I couldn't look at it because I am still doing red and white. Weird how colors sometimes just feel good.
I love your lamp. I am putting your store on the list of things I am going to do. :)

Yep, as a fellow Washingtonian I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. No wimpy showers here today.... Full on pouring down one inch blops of the wet stuff. YUK. I'm ready for SPRING!

Warm blessings,
Spencer
