A.K.A. Mr. Ruby

Today was a gorgeous day! I snapped a bunch of pics, kind of like a sneak peek preview, for tomorrow evening's Girls' Night Out event. The shop is really looking fabulous if I do say so myself, not that I'm biased or anything, there is soooo much to see. Oh and by the way, please keep an eye out for Milo ;0).

We'll have items pulled out on the sidewalk for tomorrow evening also...who would of thought we could do that in February??

I might just have to wear this cute little red bird on my shoulder for my favorite 'ruby red' accessory.

Some new arrivals are trickling..no scratch that...pouring in!

Have you seen Milo yet? He loves these things....

This is picture perfect.

Brighten up your kitchen for spring.

Such a nice variety of items in the shop..something for everyone's style.

We've got several unique cabinets and bookcases right now waiting to be snatched up! I'm very partial to this red one. I think Milo is too.

Red, green, white, brown...what's a girl to do? Get one of each!

These necklaces are so sweet. One of our newest vendors, Verilee Estelle makes these. I think I'll be getting one of these for myself!

Ok Fenton lovers, here's some beautiful pieces in BirdSong's space. Some pieces are retired, others are signed...

I love the sound of the water in this cute fountain...Milo does too.

These are all new products that Sue from BirdSong is carrying. Check out the neat black and white photos on the outside. Wouldn't these be adorable tucked in a gift basket for someone? Let's see, there's Strawberry Lemonade, Raspberry Lemonade, Key Lime Lemonade....

....and don't forget the magical pink hot chocolate, that really is pink! How fun for a little girl's tea party...I mean, cocoa party! I have a feeling Milo is close by...
When we first opened the shop, I insisted on having a shop 'mascot'. So I arrived one day with a beautiful ruby red beta. Little did I know that the pretty solid colored betas are actually males. Oh well, we named him Mr. Ruby. He graced our check out counter for practically the whole first year, then I had to bring him home because he was getting too cold in the shop during the winter. I'm saddened to say that he didn't survive the transition, our poor Mr. Ruby has gone to heaven. Now however, we have a new mascot on the scene.
This is the sweet Milo. He's a new arrival to the shop...no he's not for sale. I suggested we name him Mr. Ruby, but I don't think Sally's going for it. He's not red either, I bet some paint could fix that...just kidding!!! I couldn't get him to look at me for more than 1 second...he had his focus on my son..a little person more his size.
Big things are happening at Uncovered Ruby, stop on in and check it out! Hope to see you Friday evening!
